91% Polypropylene

Polypropylene is a synthetic fibre used in the manufacturing of rugs. The material is durable and long-lasting, and it is also suitable for underfloor heating due to its ability to withstand high temperatures. Rugs made from polypropylene are ideal for people with allergies as the material does not contain any natural fibres that may cause allergic reactions. Another advantage of polypropylene is its antistatic properties, which means it does not attract dust or shed, making them easy to clean and maintain. Additionally, polypropylene has a wool-like feel and lustre, providing an elegant and soft surface.

9% Polyester

Polyester is a popular synthetic fibre used in the textile industry thanks to its durability, lightness, and resistance to stains and moisture. Polyester rugs are typically durable, making them suitable for high-traffic areas. They have a nice sheen that gives a luxurious and soft impression to the room.

Maintenance

To prevent shading and uneven wear, frequently rotate your rug.
Use a conventional hoover instead of a robotic cleaner to prevent any damage to the rug.
If you discover a loose thread on your rug, use scissors to gently cut it off. Avoid pulling the thread to prevent damage.
To maintain the quality of your rug, avoid leaving it damp for a long time without ensuring that it dries completely. This will help protect both the rug and the surface beneath.
Rug suitable for use with underfloor heating (max. 27°C).
Our outdoor rugs are made with UV-resistant yarn to help keep colours vibrant for longer. Prolonged sun exposure will still affect vibrancy over time, so keep it in a shaded spot when possible.
When not in use, store the rug clean and completely dry. Roll it rather than fold it, to avoid creasing, and keep it somewhere cool and dry, away from direct sunlight.
Shake the rug outdoors to remove any excess dirt or debris.

Installation

For added safety, stability and floor protection, we recommend using an anti-slip pad underneath the rug (sold separately).
Fold marks may occur during transport. This is not a manufacturing defect and is easy to remedy. Simply turn your rug over, roll it tightly, and leave it for a few hours. Finally, lay out your rug and wait a few days until your rug lays flat against the floor.
As you unpack your new rug, you may notice a slight smell, which is due to the rug being tightly packed during transport. This is normal and will go away after a few days.
Make sure your floor is completely dry before placing the rug.
Please be aware that trapped dirt, dust, or dampness under a rug may cause marks or scratches on sensitive floors.

Washing instructions

Do this

Handwash
Line dry with good air circulation all around.
Make sure the rug is completely dry before placing it back on the floor.
Address spills promptly to minimize staining. Blot the affected area gently with a damp, undyed cloth—never rub, as this may embed the stain further into the fibers. Protect the floor beneath the rug by ensuring it's properly covered during the cleaning process.
We recommend that you use Rugvista Stain Remover for this type of rug.
For hard-to-remove stains, we recommend you contact a professional rug cleaner.
Rinse the rug regularly with a garden hose and, if necessary, use a mild washing-up detergent. Hang the rug or place it off the ground to dry thoroughly.

Avoid this

Do not bleach.
Do not tumble dry.
Do not iron.
Do not dry clean.
