De wedstrijd
We zijn helemaal overdonderd door de 5.500 ontwerpen, uit meer dan 80 landen! Een viering van kunst en creativiteit. Alle ontwerpers verdienen ons grootste respect voor de tijd die zij in de ontwerpen hebben gestoken. Bedankt allemaal! Na de jury, is de stem van het publiek uiteindelijk gevallen op de 12 winnaars die hieronder gepresenteerd worden.

Since 2010 I am a practicing artist in the Netherlands. I am an illustrator, painter and tutor at the Academy in Amsterdam. At this moment I am very engaged with topics as: Climate change, Refugees and Sustainability. This design shows harvested plastics with GPS coordinates as follows: 55° 27' 59.0364''N 6° 21' 17.7804'' E.

Self-taught multi-artist from Vindeln, a small community in northern Sweden. I have mostly devoted myself to watercolor painting and have previously exhibited locally and, among other things, painted paintings for Hjältarnas Hus in Umeå. With inspiration from the 70's comes this poppy color click. Soft and lovely pattern with spring colors.

Now I work as a freelancer, based in Warsaw. The design is a tribute to the postmodern architecture of Ricardo Bofill, with intense, strong, contrasting patches of color.

I am a furniture design student from Sweden who loves to work in different materials and create magical interior design objects that make every home stand out. This design is a flirtation with the happy 20s which is clearly visible in the pattern and the color green is a symbol of a healthy planet.

I have a master’s in fine arts in textile design from the Swedish school of Textiles in Sweden. I am also a painter. I explore expressions through abstract expressionism using intuition. Working with a wide range of material and techniques. I have composed a pattern based on geometrical shapes and movement in color.

HOE WE DE FINALISTEN HEBBEN UITGEKOZEN 2022
Dit jaar hebben we meer dan 5.500 fantastische inzendingen ontvangen. Zeggen dat het een overweldigende taak was om de 28 finalisten uit te kiezen, is zachtjes uitgedrukt. De jury baseerde haar keuze op designvaardigheden, uniekheid en esthetica.

Mede-oprichter / CEO, Rumrum AB
Nicklas Jansson heeft een achtergrond in reclame en marketing en samen met Magnus Andersson opende hij in 1997 de meubelwinkel Rumrum. De interesse en vragen binnen interieurontwerp en concepten ontwikkelden zich tot hun eigen meubelproductie, die zowel in Scandinavië als internationaal werd opgemerkt en verkocht. Met een groeiend aantal opdrachtgevers groeide Rumrum uit tot een puur designbureau met focus op interieurconcepten en totaalleverancier van meubelen en verlichting. Rumrum is tegenwoordig een van de grootste interieurbureaus in Skåne met toenemende opdrachten in Kopenhagen en Stockholm.

Lisa Hilland creëert eigentijds design met een poëtische twist, waarbij ze moderne hightech productietechnieken combineert met hoogwaardig vakmanschap. Tot haar huidige klanten behoren Konsthantverk, IKEA, Gärsnäs, Gemla, Design House Stockholm en Svenskt Tenn. "Als ontwerper liggen natuurlijke materialen haar na aan het hart, en Lisa gebruikt ze op een zorgvuldige, duurzame manier, waardoor ze een duurzaam ontwerp creëert".

Met een achtergrond van inkoop en design bij internationale modebedrijven, heeft ze een grote passie voor het vinden van commercieel aantrekkelijke producten die rekening houden met zowel de ecologische als sociale impact.
